“Planting Peace” is a nonprofit group that works on diverse issues such as poverty, the environment and bullying. They have projects that treat poor children for worms, they plant trees in deforested areas and try to “bring love where there is hate.” As a part of their project to end bullying, the organization has recently bought a house across the street from gay bashing Westboro Baptist Church and turned it into a resource center for gay rights called the “Equality House.” If that weren’t clear enough, they are painting the house in rainbow colors so they will be, “a visual reminder of our commitment, as global citizens, to equality for all.”
