“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of (their) skin, or (their) background, or (their) religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” -Nelson Mandela
Deep within us, a choice is being made every day and every moment. Far beneath our political decisions lies a more fundamental question. This decision is so deep that it lies beneath our every political position or religious philosophy. It is the decision to live in our hopes or in our fears. The world we see is the result of a process we do not see. It is better to have been born without the eyes in our head, than to have closed the eyes of our heart.
